My commute to the office in Denver used to take exactly 23 minutes, now it's 17 minutes on the same route.
I drive the same streets at the same time every day, but about three weeks ago the travel time just dropped. I haven't hit a single red light on Colorado Blvd for my last ten trips, which is impossible. Has anyone else had a route just permanently get faster for no clear reason?

Wish I had your luck with traffic lights. My commute seems to get longer every week, like the city is personally messing with me. Maybe you just used up all your good driving karma at once.

robin658's idea about using up all your driving karma at once might be onto something. But honestly, traffic light patterns do get changed by the city sometimes for traffic flow. They could have retimed the lights on Colorado Blvd and you just hit the sweet spot every day now. It feels weird when a route changes but there's probably a simple reason. Have you checked if they did any road work or changed the speed limit?
