Running our local rock club showed me how to handle group dynamics
As the new leader, I organized outings and handled disagreements. Spotting igneous formations became easier than managing personalities sometimes. We improved by listening to each member's expertise, like when Sarah pointed out fossil clues. Now, our club thrives on shared curiosity and better planning.

Sarah spotting those fossils really shows how listening helps.

My buddy Tom used to blabber through hikes and missed a huge owl right above him. One day, he decided to just listen and heard a strange scratchy noise. It clicked from a talk a park ranger gave about owl calls. He looked up and there was a screech owl blended into the bark. That moment made him a total convert to shutting up and hearing the world. @ryanm45, Sarah finding fossils because she listened is the exact same kind of win.
