Shoutout to the MP3 player that taught me to hear quality

Back in the day, I reviewed an MP3 player with really bad sound. I had to learn how to talk about audio without using fancy words. It meant listening to the same tracks again and again to catch the details. Now, gadget reviews often skip deep sound checks for flashy specs. That old skill still lets me tell when a new device has weak audio. It's cool how some review basics stick with you over time.

Totally get the suffering point. That kind of hurt actually helps you spot bad audio fast now. Harsh teachers make the best skills.

Really bad sound" is putting it lightly. That thing probably trained your ears through sheer suffering. Now every weak audio chip just feels like an old friend.
