That really hits home. My phone slipped out of my pocket onto concrete last year, and the repair bill was brutal. It felt so preventable, like I'd been penny wise and pound foolish. Now I just deal with the minor annoyance of a screen protector, because the alternative is so much worse. A cracked screen is just a huge hassle and expense nobody needs.

My old iPhone 6 went three years without a case. Then I dropped it on a sidewalk and the screen shattered. I'm a case and screen protector person for life now.
