I mocked my coworker's ring light setup... now I won't do a meeting without mine.

So, I laughed at my buddy's noise-canceling headphones until I borrowed them for a call. Called them overkill for our open office. Then one day my mic picked up all the background chatter. Now I won't start a video conference without them, the difference is night and day. Meetings are just clearer and less stressful. Kind of embarrassing how quick I became a convert.

My friend Lisa swore by them for years, and I totally didn't get it. Now I see it's one of those things that seems silly until you try it and can't go back.
