Unpopular opinion: I doubted oil finishes until a spill at a party proved their ease.
Seeing how simple it was to clean up sold me on oil.

But hold on, does seeing something always mean it's true? I've seen plenty of stuff that turned out to be fake or just not as big a deal as people said. Like that viral video last year everyone lost their minds over, it was just a good edit. So sure, seeing might convince you, but that doesn't make it serious. People tend to blow things out of proportion. I'm not sold that everything we see is worth getting all worked up about.
