Tried bidding high instead of low for a change after 12 years freelancing

I landed a $3,500 web dev project in Denver last month after quoting double my usual rate, and I think confidence beats undercutting every time, has anyone else tested raising prices on purpose?

Confidence beats undercutting" is so true lol. I was stuck in the low bid mindset for ages, but charging more actually got me better projects.

Yeah raising prices works when you know your work is solid. I've done the same on a few jobs and ended up with better clients who actually value what you do.
