Tried a 'pay what you want' model for a week and got crickets

I offered a basic logo design package with a suggested price of $150, but let the client name their own fee. The only person who replied offered me $20, which barely covers the software. What's the point of being flexible if people just see it as cheap? Has anyone actually made this work without feeling totally ripped off?
