I found this out during a casual chat after we finished a small $500 job. It made me realize I might be aiming too low with my own service packages. What's a normal project price in your field?

What field are you in? I used to think my rates were fine, but hearing numbers like that makes me wonder if I'm selling myself short too.

It's crazy how a quick chat can change your whole view on pricing, right? Sarahb59 has a point about selling yourself short. My own wake-up call was finding out a local competitor charges triple for basic website updates. Makes you wonder what clients actually expect to pay versus what we're scared to ask for. Maybe we all need to check in with the market more often.
