Spent 8 hours fixing a core box that should have taken 30 minutes
We had a simple 2-part core for a pump housing, but the prints called for a 0.005-inch draft on a curved surface that our pattern shop missed. I had to hand-scrape the entire core box cavity with a graver to get it right, which took my whole shift. Has anyone else had a print spec like that slip through and wreck your day?

Sounds like a rough day, but was that tiny draft even needed?

Gotta start somewhere with the big picture.

Wait hold on, @lunah86. Define "big picture" here. Are we talking about a rough sketch of the whole scene or literally a giant canvas you're trying to map out first? Cause that tiny draft could be useless if it doesn't fit the real scale. I've seen people waste hours on a "big picture" that changes completely once they hit the details. What's the actual goal for this thing?
