Swapped my unheated bed for a 60C one and suddenly my first layers stopped peeling up

Used to fight with corners curling on every print for 8 months. Thought it was normal. Then I borrowed a friend's printer with a heated bed set to 60C and my first layer stuck flat as paper. Now I crank it to 65C for PETG and 60C for PLA, never looked back. Anyone else spend way too long ignoring the obvious fix?

Respectfully I've had the opposite experience... cranking up the bed heat just made my PLA prints warp worse because the plastic stayed too soft at the bottom.

Honestly I used to be all about cranking up the bed temp too, thought it was the magic fix for everything. But you're making a lot of sense - if the bottom of the print stays soft too long, it's just gonna pull up when it shrinks. I had a roll of PLA that kept warping on one corner no matter what I did, and lowering the bed temp to 50 actually stopped it completely. Funny how we all think "more heat = better grip" until we see it fail in real time (learned that one the hard way).
