Seeing my niece concentrate on driving staples was oddly satisfying
She usually gets bored, but today she wanted to learn. The section she worked on is actually really tight.

Honestly, it's wild how kids can switch from bored to super focused like that. What was different about today that made her want to learn? Seeing her get that section tight must have been so rewarding. Did she notice how well it turned out and feel proud? My cousin's kid got obsessed with sorting screws once, same kind of deep focus. Does she usually avoid hands-on stuff, or was this a new thing for her?

Watched my friend's son build a birdhouse once. He got so focused he skipped his afternoon snack. It really shows how cool it is when kids lock in on a task.
