PSA: My remote design review got interrupted by a toddler's art project

My kid glued sequins to my mood board. The client actually loved the sparkly addition.

Last quarter my team had to redo three presentations because of "fun" last-minute edits. Idk, maybe it's just me but mixing kid stuff and client work feels like a risky precedent.

See this happen too often in my line of work. Adding fun, last-minute edits blurs the line between what's needed and what's just for show. It causes more rework and stresses out the team. Over time, clients might start to doubt our focus. We need to keep play and work separate to maintain trust and get things done.

Always kept work serious but this actually makes sense now.
