Had a 20 minute chat with a thrift store seamstress that totally reframed my approach
She told me she can tell when a garment was made to last versus made to trend just by feeling the fabric weight, and that made me realize I've been chasing prints instead of construction. Has anyone else had a random conversation that completely shifted how you look at clothing?
