My great aunt's cornbread dressing turned into a salty disaster at Thanksgiving

I was making the dressing for 12 people at my house in Dallas, following her handwritten card. I misread '1 teaspoon salt' as '1 tablespoon' and dumped it all in. The whole thing tasted like the ocean. I had to scramble and make a second batch from scratch with no time to spare. It worked out, but I was sweating for an hour. Anyone else ever have a major measurement mix-up with an old recipe?

Used to eyeball measurements until I ruined a cake with too much baking soda.

Was it really that bad, @nancyd85, or just a little extra rise?
