Knocked over my great-grandma's vase with a broom yesterday
I was cleaning the living room on Tuesday and my broom handle tapped my great-grandma's 1920s porcelain vase sitting on the end table. The thing shattered into about 15 pieces on the hardwood floor before I could even blink. Anybody have luck fixing a broken porcelain vase with just super glue or do I need some special epoxy?

Wait you got 15 pieces? That's rough but don't just use regular super glue. I've been there with an old ceramic lamp my grandma gave me and it didn't hold at all. You need a two-part epoxy that's clear and meant for ceramics or porcelain, something like Loctite or Devcon will work way better. Make sure you dry fit all the pieces first to see how they line up before you start gluing anything. Also clean the edges with rubbing alcohol first, the glue sticks way better that way. Take your time with it, maybe do two or three pieces at a time and let them set before adding more.

Heard that epoxy is the way to go with ceramics, totally agree with you.
