Tried using a spaghetti noodle to fix a stripped screw hole and it actually worked weirdly well
So I had this loose cabinet hinge in my kitchen in Cleveland and the screw hole was totally stripped out. I remembered some random YouTube video where a guy shoved a dry spaghetti noodle in the hole before putting the screw back in. Figured what the heck, snapped a piece off, jammed it in there, and screwed it back. The hinge is holding perfectly now and my wife thinks I'm a genius but honestly I just got lucky. Has anyone else tried this or something equally dumb that ended up working?

Sometimes the dumbest fixes end up being the smartest.

Used to roll my eyes at that kind of thinking but @amymiller you're totally right... the janky fixes somehow work better than the fancy ones sometimes.
