Vent: why do some estheticians skip double cleansing after microneedling?

I used to think one good cleanse was enough post-procedure until a client broke out with these tiny bumps 3 days later and I pieced it together. Was I the only one missing this or do some of you swear by a single pass just fine?

3 days post microneedling and they broke out? That's wild. I would've freaked if I didn't know the double cleanse trick. Gonna start telling my clients to do two passes from now on for sure.

I mean, I get why people like double cleansing but honestly I feel like it might be overkill for a lot of people. If you're already using a gentle cleanser and your skin barrier is still healing from the needles, doing two passes could strip it way too much and cause more irritation than the breakout you're trying to avoid. Maybe it's just me but I've seen clients have way better results just sticking to one very gentle cleanse with lukewarm water for the first week instead of trying to scrub everything off.
