Tried using a jade roller after a hydrafacial and got weird results

I did hydrafacials on three clients last Tuesday and decided to follow up with a jade roller like I've seen on instagram. Figured it would help with lymphatic drainage and make the glow even better. Instead, two of them broke out in tiny whiteheads within a day. My third client was fine but said her skin felt kind of irritated. I'm thinking maybe the roller pushed some of the serums too deep or trapped bacteria under the surface. Has anyone else seen this happen when you combine treatments like that?

Wait, hold on. These were brand new jade rollers, right? You didn't reuse them without cleaning them first or anything like that? Because honestly, I've heard that those rollers can be little germ magnets if you're not careful, especially after a hydrafacial when your skin is basically wide open. The way you describe those whiteheads popping up that fast makes it sound like something got trapped in those pores instantly. It's wild that only one out of three clients had a totally fine experience with it. You'd think if the technique was bad it would mess up all of them the same way.

Hmm, I kinda see it the other way though. If the rollers were brand new and clean, that rules out bacteria from the tool itself. Maybe the issue is more about everyone's skin reacting differently to the combo of hydrafacial plus the mechanical rolling. People's skin can be unpredictable, even in a small group like that.
