Tried a new extractions tool after 5 years of using my fingers

I've been doing extractions with just my gloved fingers for as long as I've been in this business. Last week a coworker at the spa talked me into trying this little metal loop tool she got from a supply shop downtown. First client I used it on had those stubborn chin comedones and I got almost all of them out in one pass without bruising her skin at all. I felt like such a fool for never trying it sooner. Has anyone else had better luck with tools over manual pressure for certain skin types?

My friend was stripping wallpaper off her kitchen wall and after two hours of scraping she finally figured out a steamer would do the same job in ten minutes. Same kind of feeling I bet.

Oh man, @thomas_scott, that's exactly the kind of thing I'd do... spend way too long brute-forcing something when the easy way's right there. I once spent a whole afternoon trying to pry off a stubborn cabinet hinge with a screwdriver before realizing I just needed to unscrew it. Felt like a real genius, let me tell you. Your friend probably felt that same mix of relief and embarrassment when she finally grabbed that steamer. I can just picture her standing there with the scraper in one hand and the steamer in the other, wondering why she didn't think of it sooner. It's like my dad always said: "If you're gonna do it the hard way, at least make sure you're having fun doing it.
