Showerthought: I used to think high frequency wands were just a gimmick for Instagram estheticians
After using one on a client with stubborn cystic acne for 3 weeks straight and seeing actual results, I had to admit I was wrong, has anyone else been converted on a tool they initially dismissed?

Hold up... I'm not completely sold on this. High frequency wands are basically glorified neon tubes that make a buzzing sound, feels more like a spa novelty than serious acne treatment. Cystic acne comes from deep within the skin layers, so a little electrical current on the surface seems like it wouldn't touch that. Placebo is real though, and three weeks of consistent use could make anyone think something's working when it's just time healing things naturally. Plus there's that weird smell of ozone that gets stuck in the room, not exactly clinical magic.
