Showerthought: I read a study that said 60% of people don't actually wash their face before a facial
Found this in a trade journal from the Aesthetic Institute. They surveyed 500 clients. Sixty percent. That's wild to me. I've been doing this for eight years in Tampa. I always assumed people at least rinsed their face before coming in. Now I'm thinking about all the extra oil and makeup I've had to break through. Makes the double cleanse step way more crucial than I thought. How do you guys handle it when a client shows up with a full face of makeup they didn't mention?

Honestly, that just sounds like a normal Tuesday in this job.

The third quarter report from last year had seventeen separate "urgent" requests marked for Tuesday delivery. It got to the point where my team just started calling urgent emails "Tuesday mail." The whole system breaks down when everything is a five alarm fire. You just end up ignoring the real problems because the noise is constant.

Yeah @ivanbrown gets it, some days just be like that. For us we started flagging stuff with different colored labels so at least we could tell which fires were actually real and which were just Tuesday mail.
