Changed my mind about facial oils after visiting that spa in Portland
I always thought facial oils were just a waste of money for people with dry skin. But I went to this little spa called Dewdrop on 5th Ave in Portland last month and the esthetician used a rosehip oil on me. She said it balances oil production and my combo skin actually liked it. Has anyone else had a similar experience with oils working on oily zones?

Rosehip broke me out but jojoba actually calmed my t-zone down.

I had the exact opposite problem with jojoba myself - it made me look like a greased up donut. But rosehip has been a lifesaver for my dry patches. Funny how our skin can be so picky, like a toddler refusing to eat anything but chicken nuggets one day and then hating them the next. @rivershah, you're lucky your t-zone finally found its calm. I'm still searching for my skin's perfect partner - maybe I'll just give up and start washing my face with nothing but water.
