Been waxing brows wrong for 3 years figured it out yesterday
I always started at the tail and worked inward but a client came in with a fresh wax from another esthetician and told me 'they start at the arch first.' Tried it on my next client and the shape came out way more even. Anyone else have a basic technique they were doing backwards?

Always waxed from the outside in and wondered why the arch kept disappearing.

Man I saw a video the other day where a guy broke this down and it all clicked. He said if you start from the outside you're basically fighting the natural hair growth pattern on the arch. @evanb87 had the same struggle I did for years. Once I switched to going with the grain on the arch area and cleaned up the outside edge last it stayed so much better. Took me way too long to figure that out.
