Had to pick between Meraki and Aruba for our warehouse deployment last quarter
I went with Aruba Instant On after our rep showed me the Meraki licensing costs would hit $14k over 3 years for 12 APs, and so far the management interface is way less clunky than I expected. Anyone else stuck choosing between cloud and controller based setups for a smaller site?

Started laughing out loud at my desk when I saw your comment because I literally just went through that same nightmare. My boss looked at me like I was speaking Klingon when I tried to break down the per-AP licensing thing for Meraki. I mean, I ended up drawing a diagram on a whiteboard with stick figures and dollar signs and he still didn't get it. At least with the Aruba stuff the pricing is pretty straightforward, no hidden fees or weird renewal tiers to explain. Honestly, some days I think these networking companies design their pricing just to mess with us normal humans who just want Wi-Fi to work.

Oh man, I still have nightmares about trying to explain controller licensing to my boss like it's ancient alien technology!
