I thought those new wireless hoistway phone systems were a gimmick, but a job in Phoenix changed my mind.
We installed one in a 15-story building downtown, and the clarity was way better than the old hardwired setup. It cut our testing time by almost half because we didn't have to trace wires. Anyone else had a good experience with these, or are they still more trouble than they're worth?

Wasn't the whole wireless thing just asking for signal problems? Your point about the testing time is huge, though. I guess the tech has finally gotten good enough to be reliable.
