Blew a capacitor on a 20-year-old stereo receiver

Was troubleshooting a Kenwood amp in my garage last night after it started humming real bad. Pulled the board and sure enough, the cap near the power supply had bulged at the top. Swapped it with a Nichicon from my parts drawer and it fired right up. Anyone else keep a stock of old caps for vintage gear?
