Went back to an old house I wired in 2019 and the difference was night and day

I did a full rewire on a 1940s house in Portland back in 2019, owner wanted everything in metal conduit. Went by last week to help with a new circuit for an EV charger and I could not believe how clean the panel looked compared to some of my newer jobs. The difference was I took my time back then, no rushing, every bend measured out. Has anyone else gone back to an old job years later and seen how your work held up over time?

Oh man that hits close to home. It's always a good feeling when your older work still looks solid years later, makes all that extra care worth it.

I built a deck in 2019 that I was so proud of, but the wood started warping after two winters. I sealed it with this premium stuff, but it still didn't hold up like I thought it would. Makes you wonder if the extra care was really worth it when the weather decides to have its own say. Sometimes you can do everything right and nature still has other plans.
