The pipe bender trick that saved me 2 hours on a 4-floor office job downtown

I was running EMT on this old building off Market Street in Philly last Tuesday, and my usual method of measuring and bending each offset separately was taking forever. On a whim, I tried chaining all my bends together on one stick before cutting anything, and it lined up perfect first try on the third floor. Now I’m wondering if that’s a legit speed trick or just dumb luck - has anyone else tried grouping bends on a single conduit run before cutting?

You've discovered the grouping trick, works every time for me on multi-floor runs.

@karenf40 grouping always backfires for me on tight stairwells. Could just be bad luck though.
