Vent: Got yelled at for parking in my own spot at Southgate Mall today

Some guy in a truck blocked me in and started honking cause he thought I stole his parking stall. I showed him my monthly pass and he just drove off without saying sorry. Has anyone else had issues with people fighting over spots in that lot?

That guy in a truck blocked me in" ... man that whole section of the lot by the food court is a mess. My friend actually had a similar thing happen there last month. She pulled into a spot near the Macy's entrance and some lady came flying in behind her, laying on the horn because she thought my friend was following her to steal her spot. Even after my friend pointed to the empty space right next to them, the lady just kept yelling. It's like people forget it's a parking lot not a demolition derby.

Wait, she actually thought your friend was FOLLOWING her to steal a spot? That's some next level paranoia right there. People get so territorial over a parking space you'd think they're defending their front yard or something. It's wild how fast folks lose their minds over something that takes like 30 seconds to sort out.
