Remember when you had to actually phone the city about potholes?

I used to call 311 and wait on hold for 20 minutes just to report a pothole on 82 Street. Now I just snap a pic with the 311 app and it's fixed in like 3 days. Has anyone else noticed how much faster the city responds now compared to like 2016?

The app has been a total game changer, for real. I reported a gnarly pothole near the Broadway intersection using the app last month and it was patched up within 48 hours. Back in 2016 I would have given up after the first hold, but now it's almost too easy to get things fixed.

Makes you wonder why everything else can't work that smoothly. It's like we finally figured out how to make technology fix actual real life problems instead of just making more of them.
