PSA: Watch out for that new 'Edmonton Chat' app that popped up last month

I dropped $40 on their 'premium' version thinking it would help me connect with local groups, but it's just a broken mess that crashes constantly. The chat rooms are empty and the only messages I got were spam bots. Honestly, just stick to the regular forums you already know. Has anyone else had a bad experience with it, or found a better local chat app that actually works?

Ouch, that's brutal. You basically paid for a digital ghost town with extra bugs. I'd have more fun setting forty bucks on fire, at least that would keep me warm for a second. It's like they saw the word "local" and thought they didn't need to make anything that actually functioned. What a total scam. Did they even try to fix the crashes before taking people's money?
