I keep seeing people mix up the old and new Walterdale Bridge in photos

I mean, I was looking at some local history posts and noticed a bunch of folks tagging pictures of the old steel bridge as the new one. The old one got torn down like six years ago, and the new one has those big white arches. It matters because it's part of our city's story, you know? I found out from the city archives website. Has anyone else run into this mix-up online?

But does it really matter that much lol, it's just a bridge.

Yeah but bridges are crazy expensive to fix if they get ignored. That one probably needs inspections and maintenance every year, which costs real money. Letting it go could mean a huge bill later or even having to shut it down.
