Found out 1 in 5 school buses in Alberta fail safety inspections on the first try
I was just reading that report from the province about school bus inspections from last November. It said nearly 20% of them had issues like bad brakes or lights on the first check. Some people think that's a sign the system is working since they catch problems. Others say it means buses are hitting the road really unsafe to begin with. Which side do you lean on after seeing that stat?

Scary how many brake issues they catch on first try though.

Hate to be that person but it's actually not that common for them to catch brake issues on the first try. Most shops just do a quick visual and call it good, the real problems don't show up until you get the rotors off. That first inspection is more about catching the obvious stuff.
