Had to decide between a 3-hour chili or a 6-hour pulled chicken for my kid's team dinner.
I picked the chicken because I only had 4 hours before the party, and it turned out perfect on the 'high' setting. Everyone asked for the recipe, which is just chicken, a jar of salsa, and a packet of taco seasoning. What's your go-to meal when you're seriously short on time?

Only four hours to cook and you went with the six-hour recipe. Bold move. My go-to is boxed mac and cheese with a can of tuna dumped in. Gourmet stuff. Takes maybe ten minutes if the water boils fast.

Nobody's talking about how you can just blend up some roasted veggies into the sauce. Extra flavor, no effort, and it looks like you actually tried.

Honestly, that pressure of a team dinner is real. My last-minute save is dumping a bag of frozen meatballs and a jar of marinara in the slow cooker. It's not fancy, but after a couple hours on high, you've got something to throw on rolls.
