Finally got my 3-year-old to eat veggies with a slow cooker trick
After six months of him refusing anything green, I started blending carrots and spinach into a basic beef stew. He ate two bowls last night without a fuss. Anyone have other veggie-hiding recipes for picky eaters?

Wow, I always thought hiding veggies was kinda cheating, but seeing it actually work is a game changer. My nephew would live off chicken nuggets if he could. I'm totally stealing your stew idea, maybe try adding some blended cauliflower into mac and cheese next.

Right? I used to think the same way, like it was tricking them or something. But honestly, if it gets good food into them, who cares? My youngest was the same with pasta, only plain buttered noodles. I started mixing a little bit of pureed butternut squash into the sauce, and now he eats it all. The cauliflower in mac and cheese is a solid plan, it just makes it creamier.
