Bought a cheap slow cooker liner pack and it melted into my dinner
I grabbed a 20 pack of liners at the dollar store for like 3 bucks and threw one in with my pot roast last Sunday. The thing just disintegrated after about 4 hours on low and left plastic bits floating in my broth. Ruined a 12 dollar chuck roast and a bunch of veggies I had prepped. Anyone else had bad luck with off brand liners or found a brand that actually holds up?

Totally agree with @emma349 on this one. Liners are just an accident waiting to happen. I stick to soaking my pot and it's way less stress.

Stop using liners at all, that's my take on this. I get that they're convenient for cleanup but the whole point of a slow cooker is that it's nonstick and easy to wash anyway. My mom has been using the same Crock-Pot for like 30 years without a single liner and the thing still works fine. Those cheap ones are basically glorified trash bags that can't handle heat. I'd rather spend 5 minutes scrubbing than worry about eating melted plastic.
