That one Saturday at the library sale where I scored 8 books for $5
Went to the library sale over on Grand Avenue and this older lady was clearing out her late husband's collection. Ended up finding a first edition of The Stars My Destination buried under a pile of old cookbooks. Paid 75 cents for it because they had a bag sale that day. Has anyone else ever found a legit first edition hiding in plain sight like that?

Did you check the copyright page yet? @richard_ramirez is right though, that's a hell of a score for a first edition. I'd be flipping through every dusty box I could find after that.
