PSA: I stopped using a trowel for inside corners 6 months ago.
Switched to a corner box on a job in Denver and my angles are tighter, way less sanding, anyone else find the mud cake method overrated?

Threw my trowel in the junk drawer after the first week with a corner box. Mud cake method always left me with a ridge I had to sand down anyway. Corner box just squeezes it in clean and I barely touch the sander anymore. Feels like one of those things you wish you tried years ago. Totally agree it makes the whole inside corner part of the job way less annoying.

Threw my trowel in the junk drawer" - same here, @rivershah. Corner box changed my whole game on inside corners.
