Was dead set against synthetic oil in my Cat C15 until a job in Alberta changed my mind

A guy on a pipeline job near Red Deer ran 30,000 hours on the same motor with Rotella T6, showed me the oil analysis reports to prove it. Ever had a piece of hard data flip your opinion on something you were sure about?

What did those analysis reports show that the 30,000 hours alone didn't already prove to you?

Oil analysis reports are the only kind of paperwork I'd trust without a lawyer present. I'd need a full confession from my wallet before I switched though.

Oscarthompson, I read that T6 holds viscosity better in extreme heat. @the_lisa those reports probably showed wear metals staying low.
