Vent: Lost a whole day to a stuck cutterhead because I skipped the pre-check

I was in a rush yesterday and didn't look over the cutterhead before starting. Turns out, a small rock jammed it up, and I learned the hard way that a five-minute check saves hours of downtime. What's your must-do inspection step before firing up the dredge?

Why bother checking when you learn more from fixing the mess anyway?

After jamming mine, I now always check the intake grate first.

Run water through it to flush out any loose debris before you start.
