Update on that 'magic' pump grease from the trade show

I was sure it was just overpriced hype, but after a full season on the main pump in Mobile, we haven't had a single bearing overheat. Anyone else run a full season on this stuff?

Okay but "a full season" is what, like six months? That's not exactly a lifetime test. I've seen cheap grease hold up fine for a year then turn to chalk. What happens when it gets really wet or you hit a crazy heat wave next summer? I need to see a couple years of real world use before I call anything magic.

Seriously? That's wild. We had a similar thing with some "miracle" thread sealant a few years back. The rep swore it would outlive the pipe. It did not. Made a huge mess when a joint let go on a cold night. I'm still finding little blue flakes in the shop.
