Visited a trade show in Cleveland and noticed every booth had the same drafting table setup

I was at the A/E/C Systems show last month and walked past like 20 booths all using those same adjustable drafting stools with the round seat. Has anyone else noticed how uniform stuff gets once you hit a certain level of professional gear, or is it just me?

You know what, I used to roll my eyes at that kind of uniformity. Thought it was lazy, like nobody wanted to try something different. But after seeing how beat up gear gets on trade show floors, it actually makes perfect sense. Those drafting tables and stools are built to take a pounding and still look professional. Plus, you can swap out parts easy if something breaks instead of junking the whole setup. It changed my mind because now I get that consistent gear means reliable performance, not just copycat behavior.

Did your buddy @harris.vera also find that out after their drafting table took a tumble at a conference last year lol?
