Used to freehand all my straight cuts with a tape and pencil...

Spent 8 years marking every drywall panel by hand until my buddy loaned me a chalk line at a job in Orlando last month. Now I can't believe I wasted that much time eyeballing it, does anyone else have a tool they stubbornly avoided for way too long?

lol oh man that first month is rough but once it clicks it just makes sense right? i remember feeling like i was missing something for so long and then one day it just hit me. the way it changes how you see everything from flooring to ceilings is honestly wild. glad you stuck with it cause i know plenty of people who gave up way too early. youre in the club now lol
