The week every line I drew turned into a mess
I had a run in Austin last Tuesday where three separate shop drawings got sent back for revision. One had a dimension off by 1/8 inch and it threw off the whole elevation. Anyone else have weeks where your brain just won't lock onto the numbers?

Man that 1/8 inch thing is brutal. Its like the universe picks one tiny detail to mess with and then everything unravels from there. Been noticing this happens in other stuff too like when I try to cook and forget one spice and the whole meal tastes off.

Yeah that 1/8 inch thing really gets under your skin, doesn't it? I've had weeks where I swear my tape measure is haunted because every other cut is just a hair off and I have to redo things. It's like your brain is trying its best but something in the air is just messing with your focus. I had a stretch last month where three straight days nothing lined up right and I ended up trashing half a sheet of plywood because I couldn't get a simple square cut. Sometimes you just gotta walk away for an hour and come back fresh or it gets worse. Hope your week turns around man, those rough patches always pass eventually.
