Spent 3 hours trying to figure out why my hatch pattern wasn't printing right, only to realize I had the wrong scale set at 1:1 instead of 1/4"=1'.
I was about to scrap the whole sheet and start over before someone in the cube next to me casually glanced over and spotted the mistake in two seconds has anyone else had a drafting error that felt like a complete waste of time just because of a tiny setting?

A tiny scale setting can trash hours of work faster than anything else I've run into. Always double check those viewport scales before you commit to a plot.

Respectfully @wadeowens, I get your point but I actually disagree here. Yeah scale settings are important but those 3 hours probably taught the person more about what to check first next time than if they just printed it right away. I've had so many mistakes over the years where I learned way more from the ones that wasted my time than the ones someone caught fast. The cure is to build a quick mental checklist before plotting so you don't keep making the same errors. A tiny setting can trash hours but only if you let it happen twice. The real waste is when you never figure out why something went wrong.
