Old plotter gave out mid job yesterday in the middle of a big residential lot

Was laying out a foundation for a new house outside of town and the HP Designjet just froze up on layer three. Screen went blank, no errors, nothing. Had to dig out the old blueprints and go manual with a scale ruler for the rest of the day. Took me an extra two hours to finish the layout. Any of you guys still keep paper backups around or am I just old school?

Paper backups saved me more times than I care to count.

Look at @wendyw71 over here acting like they're a war survivor or something. Honestly, paper backups aren't that deep. I've lost a few thumb drives over the years but it never ruined my life. If you're losing data that many times maybe the issue isn't the backup method, it's how you handle your files. I swear people act like forgetting to hit save is the end of the world. Just chill out and use Google Drive like everyone else.
