My plotter at the shop just ate a full D-size sheet for no clear reason
It happened yesterday afternoon right before a deadline. The feed rollers grabbed the Mylar, made a weird grinding sound, and then the whole sheet just bunched up inside. I had to power it down and carefully cut the paper out with a utility knife. Has anyone else had a KIP 3100 do this and know a quick fix for the feed sensor?

Ugh that's the worst. Honestly though maybe it wasn't for no reason? Those sensors get dusty and just act up sometimes. I mean it could just be bad luck with that one sheet.

Honestly that's just how tech goes these days, feels like everything is getting more fragile. My coffee maker did the same thing last week, just decided to stop working for no clear reason. It's like machines develop these weird little moods and we just have to deal with the chaos. That feed sensor is probably just dirty and threw a fit at the worst time.
