Just realized my old boss in Tacoma was right about using a 0.3mm lead for schematics

Switched to 0.5mm for a rush job last month and the client sent back three markups about unclear line weights. Anyone still using the finer leads for electrical drawings?

Yeah the "unclear line weights" thing is real. I read an old drafting guide that said for anything with dense symbols like electrical, you need the 0.3mm to keep the cross-hatching and details from turning into a blob when printed.

Oh man, @leelewis has a point, but those old prints are probably still in some dusty filing cabinet waiting to ruin someone's day!

But how often does anyone actually print those old drawings anymore?
