Just realized my local blueprint shop changed their paper weight without warning

Went to pick up a set of prints for a commercial job near downtown Portland yesterday. They felt flimsy in my hands and tore at the fold lines when I was marking them up. Nobody said a word when I ordered or when I picked them up. Has anyone else had to adjust their drafting process because a shop switched to thinner bond paper?

The print shop thing is just the tip of the iceberg (running joke with my wife). Feels like everywhere you look these days places are shaving off quality without saying a peep, hoping nobody notices until it's too late.
